Art in the Kitchen: Julia Child's Vinaigrette
We love to grow the gorgeous Julia Child’s roses in the garden with their licorice scent. We also enjoy and recommend her timeless and simple vinaigrette.
Ingredients:
1 or 1/2 shallot depending on size (minced)
1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
Freshly ground pepper and salt to taste
